The malt masters from Islay, Bruichladdich Distillery, continue to embark on a whisky tour de force with annual editions of the uber-experimental cult Octomore range - the world's most heavily peated whisky. Titanic amounts of peat but with a light, delicate complexity and a beguiling finesse, the Octomore is young, yet eminently mature. Always distilled using 100% Scottish barley and matured entirely on Islay for a minimum of 5 years in American oak casks. With only a few bottles available worldwide in each release, this is one whisky experience not to miss out on. Guiding you throughout the tastings, QLD Brand Ambassador Liam Shepherd will keep us all equally informed and entertained.
